The new facilities of the Grande-Anse Park Nautical Center in Pointe-Claire replaces the old building which had deteriorated over time. The architecture of the chalet is inspired by the stratification of the shoreline and its design reflects an intention to fight climate change. The roof has been designed to optimize passive solar gains, playing an important role in reducing energy consumption. A large skylight allows for natural ventilation of the spaces. Our curtain wall from the 3400 series, the highlight of this project, provides access to natural light diffused in the impressive community hall. It offers breathtaking views of the beauty of the lake.
