Congratulations to the architects and glazieries that worked in collaboration with Prévost!
Each year, the reference manual of the AAPPQ showcases construction, renovation or expansion projects that illustrates the know-how of architectural firms in Quebec. Once again, this year, several benchwork projects were built with our building envelope solutions.
Glance at them!
Birks Hotel
Major renovations have restored this 1894 building to its original glamour. This downtown Montreal project consisted in revamping the iconic work of the Architect Edward Maxwell.
Birks will continue to stand out in the urban landscape for generations to come. Our series 5100 terrace doors were perfect for the rooftop deck, their sturdiness offers great durability, and their elegance completes the magnificent look.
Congratulations to Vitreco and NEUF architect(e)s !
CHATEAU LAURIER
The Hotel Chateau Laurier Quebec is a third-generation family-owned business. In 2018, the windows of the institution were modernized. Our famous 1300HPT series windows are elegant, durable, and robust, in addition to offering superior thermal performance. In 2019, the expansion and renovation of the ground floor created a new lobby that is both welcoming and functional. The black anodized aluminum doors and curtain wall blend in perfectly with the timeless decor, both modern and classic.
Congratulations to our partners: Vitrerie LC (windows), Vitrerie Univerre (doors and curtain wall of the ground floor) as well as the team at Étienne Bernier architecture.

Cultural Pole of Chambly
Inaugurated in October 2019, the Cultural Pole of Chambly is a multifunctional complex that includes a library, a hall as well as exhibition spaces. This living space has a significant impact on the community through its interventions in architecture, public space, and art.
Congratulations to the consortium of Architects from Jodoin Lamarre Pratte and Atelier TAG as well as our client, Vitrerie J.O Dufour.
Christ-Roi School Expansion
Located in Ahuntsic, the redevelopment of this elementary school was necessary to meet the growing demand in this neighborhood. The new extension kept the same building high but is distinguished by its contemporary facades. The two buildings are built around a vast central staircase bathing in natural light and radiant colors. The many curtain walls and windows used for this project provide lots of natural lite and the wide stile swing doors from series 2750 offer sturdiness.
Congratulations to the consortium of Architects from BGLA and Smith Vigeant, as well as Vitrerie Claude for the magnificent achievement.
