Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville - Discovery pavilion

This reception pavilion for park visitors is located in a place dedicated to nature discovery, social interactions and recreation. It was built to be in harmony with its surroundings. The curtain walls offer views of the park and the reflection of the trees on its tinted facade makes the place even more magical. Opening shutters integrated into the curtain walls provide additional ventilation.

This project has won several architectural prizes including the Grands Prix du Design in 2018 (sustainable development and valuation of wood), in addition to the Canadian Green Building Awards in the “institutional” category and the prize for excellence in architecture from the OAQ, in 2019.
