Hilton hotel

This was a major renovation project in the landscape of Quebec City due to the size and location.

The Hilton Québec hotel was built between 1973 and 1974, this brutalist-style building had not undergone such major transformation since its construction. The mandate was to replace the existing building envelope to improve the insulation and waterproofing of the building. As well as ensuring the sustainability of the building for the next 50 years while retaining the original brutalist look and style of the hotel, without distorting the architecture of Parliament Hill near by.

Many windows of the series 1300 were selected to insure durability, efficiency, and robustness.
